The Queens County Model Railroad Association is the oldest and only HO Railroad club in New York City. Join us and be part of the past tradition and future growth of the Empire Valley Railroad.



Welcome to the  Website of the

Queens County

Model Railroad Association

located in Long Island City, Queens, New York.

The Association has been in existence since 1947.
We currently have a 60' X 30' HO scale layout on multiple levels. The layout is about 75% sceniced and currently uses the CVP-Easy DCC wireless system.

We meet every Friday night starting at 8 p.m.

Operating sessions are conducted twice a month on the first and third Friday's. Work sessions are the second and fourth Fridays.

New members are needed to help complete some of the many projects that are either ongoing or in the planning stage. No prior experience is needed, just a love of model railroading.

The club is located at

34-05 44th Street Long Island City, NY 11102

in the basement of the apartment building located on the corner of 34th Ave. & 44th St. Please use the side entrance on the 44th Street side of the building, The door bell is on the left side of the steel gate at the top of the ramp .
